On to trying to win the big $100k this week …

Round 22

Dragons v Broncos — Thursday 7.50pm at WIN Stadium

Euan Aitken CTW (Dragons)

A battle of two teams showing some of the worst form in the competition. With the match being at WIN Stadium it makes me lean a little towards the Dragons, as hard as that is to believe, and one man who has been a revelation this year is Euan Aitken. A five-round average of 74.2PPG is exceptional in a team that is losing most weeks and only contains two tries in that period. Sixties are the norm, but 100’s are the upside with a try.

Other options: Jack DeBelin, Corey Parker, Matt Gillett, Anthony Milford.

Eels v Sea Eagles — Friday 7.50pm at Pirtek Stadium

Clint Gutherson CTW | FLB (Eels)

It was bloody hard to go past Tom Trbojevic here given his unbelievable run of form, but that’s how impressed I have been with Gutherson since his move to five-eighth. A five-round average of 71.6PPG and three-round average of a massive 87PPG show just how well he’s playing, and up against his former club — the Sea Eagles — this weekend, a case of #revengegame is in the pipeline …

Other options: Jamie Buhrer, Tom Trbojevic, Dylan Walker, Kenny Edwards.

Knights v Bulldogs — Saturday 3.00pm at Hunter Stadium

Will Hopoate CTW | FLB (Bulldogs)

The Knights have improved in recent weeks, but not when it comes to conceding points to outside backs! Hopoate has a career average of 61PPG against the Knights, plus some great form on the board this season which has held Brett Morris out of the fullback jersey. You could pick any of the outside backs for the Bulldogs here and be every chance of getting it right.

Other options: Josh Jackson, Brett Morris, Moses Mbye, Dane Gagai.

Sharks v Raiders — Saturday 5.30pm at Southern Cross Group Stadium

Ben Barba FLB (Sharks)

Southern Cross Group Stadium has become a fortress this season, and one man has found himself at the heart of all the best attacking play the Sharks seem to produce … Ben Barba! A five-round average of 92.8PPG is remarkable, and the last time these two sides met, Barba delivered a stunning 96-point, two-try and one try assist performance. So many gun options in this game.

Other options: Paul Gallen, Andrew Fifita, Jack Bird, BJ Leilua, Jarrod Croker.

Storm v Rabbitohs — Saturday 7.30pm at AAMI Park

Cameron Munster CTW | FLB (Storm)

Last week I was all about the Storm forwards and Cameron Smith in what was always going to be a tight tussle with the Cowboys. This week it’s all about the high upside. Last start, the Rabbitohs lost 54-4 to the Raiders, with Rapana, Croker and Leilua all scoring through the roof! Munster has never played against them, but I would hazard a guess at the fact he may enjoy the match-up.

Other options: Cameron Smith, Cooper Cronk, Sam Burgess, Cody Walker.

Titans v Warriors — Sunday 2pm at Cbus Super Stadium

Tui Lolohea CTW | FLB (Warriors)

I’ve picked Shaun Johnson the last four times the Warriors have played and you certainly can’t go wrong with him. However, one of the most impressive players (when picked in his proper position!) this season has been Tui Lolohea. Last weekend Lolohea was moved back to fullback and duly delivered with a 73-point performance, I like where this is heading.

Other options: Ash Taylor, Chris McQueen, Bodene Thompson, Shaun Johnson.

Tigers v Cowboys — Sunday 4pm at Leichhardt Oval

Jason Taumalolo 2RF (Cowboys)

Lolo is a beast. In terms of projections, SuperCoach GOLD has him at 87 points this weekend, leaving him fourth of all players taking the field and easily the highest in this contest. Not too bad, eh? Lolo has a five-round average of 70.4PPG and has a previous high score of 98 points against the Tigers.

Other options: Ethan Lowe, Lachlan Coote, James Tedesco, Mitchell Moses.

Panthers v Roosters — Monday 7pm at Pepper Stadium

Josh Mansour CTW (Panthers)

Mansour has wound back the clock and showed everyone why he’s been the must-have CTW of the past three seasons, scoring 117 points on the weekend to go with scores of 82, 123, 108 and 48 in the past five weeks — good for an average of 95.6PPG. Incredible. Look no further, he’s your man.

Other options: Matt Moylan, Bryce Cartwright, Trent Merrin, Jake Friend

Good luck! Will this be the week where someone takes home a huge wad of cash? Let’s hope so.
