ONE week out for the opening game of the 2017 State of Origin season, the kick off at Suncorp Stadium can’t come quick enough.

With both teams now in camp and going through their preparations, our man Barry Toohey has taken a look at each side’s 1-17.

It seems the Blues have picked a stronger side with players who are in-form, but Origin can dish anything up come the night.

Check out the head to head match ups of New South Wales and Queensland for the series opener and see which team comes out on top based on current club form, with a bit of Origin reputation thrown in.
