Paul Gallen filmed dancing shirtless in pub at The Rocks after NRL grand final

Cronulla Sharks legend Paul Gallen has wound back the Mad Monday clock, dancing topless in a Sydney bar after the NRL grand final.

It appears Paul Gallen and Shane Flanagan are still celebrating Cronulla’s 2016 NRL grand final success.

With his shirt ripped off, Gallen, the rugby league champion-turned boxer, showed he was still in good shape as he was filmed dancing on stage to some local music.

Onlookers at The Orient Hotel in The Rocks were in stitches when Gallen took to the stage during a rendition of John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads” for an impromptu performance.

It was the same watering hole the Sharks spent their Mad Monday celebrating their 50-year drought-breaking grand final win over Melbourne.

While enjoying a catch-up with former Sharks coach Shane Flanagan, Gallen decided to relive the moment on the public holiday Monday, by downing a few beers and having a dance.

Gallen preferred not to comment when contacted by The Daily Telegraph on Tuesday, but did admit to being “a terrible dancer”.

While not irritated at being filmed, he did admit “that’s the world we live in”.

Gallen was part of Channel 9’s grand final coverage on Sunday at Accor Stadium as Penrith won back-to-back premierships with a 28-12 win over Parramatta.

The video emerged as the Panthers players continue their celebrations out in Penrith.
