Blog with Buzz: Who the Dally M coach of the year should be

BLOG WITH BUZZ: With the Dally M awards night fast approaching Phil Rothfield took a shot at picking his team of the year, including who is best coach.

Just how good is Cleary?

PICKING a Dally M coach of the year is as hard as the positional awards.

Craig Bellamy has done a sensational job to steer the Storm to another minor premiership. Yet he’s had much better cattle than Brad Arthur at the Parramatta Eels.

We’ve gone with Arthur ahead of Bellamy, Trent Barrett at Manly and Shane Flanagan at the Sharks.

Trying to defend a premiership can be harder than winning one and the fact Flanagan has Cronulla in a position to challenge again despite losing Michael Ennis and Ben Barba is a significant achievement.
