SURELY coach Paul McGregor sealed his future at the Dragons with a magnificent win over the Broncos.
For weeks there has been speculation about Wayne Bennett returning to the club where he won the 2010 title. Their fans on social media have been relentless in wanting McGregor gone. Surely no more.
The Dragons struggled after State of Origin and were given no hope against a Broncos side that had beaten the Roosters, Rabbitohs and Sea Eagles in the build-up.

That McGregor had them ready to go on Sunday was a coaching masterstroke. This side had been playing with no confidence. Somehow he lifted them out of a rut and after a slow start, they dominated the Broncos.
Even more impressive, they did it without James Graham, who was taken out by a Korbin Sims forearm. Then Gareth Widdop’s shoulder went again.
So next week it’s the Dragons against arch- rivals the Rabbitohs. What a game. Mary McGregor and his team deserve to be there.
