Sydney Roosters star Jess Sergis may have played her last game of the NRLW season after fracturing her finger in a big win against Parramatta on Sunday.

The NSW and Australia centre will undergo surgery this week and the club will monitor her return to play post operation.

However, with two weeks to go in the regular season before finals, Sergis will be up against it to make it back on the field.

Her loss will come as a huge blow for the Roosters as they aim to wrap up the minor premiership with a win against Newcastle on Saturday afternoon.

Elsewhere, Taliah Fuimaono has been named on an extended bench for the Gold Coast in their clash with Parramatta on Sunday.

The Jillaroos and NSW half hasn’t played since injuring her ankle in round one as she sourced a number of medical opinions to assess the best course of treatment.

With two games left to go in the regular season, her inclusion on the extended bench for the Titans means she is a chance to return for finals, which would be a welcome boost for the third-placed side.

Eels captain Kennedy Cherrington also makes her return this week after serving a four-match ban for a spear tackle against the Knights in round three.
