NRL Casualty Ward: Jack de Belin out for 6-8 weeks with shoulder injury

THE biggest casualty of the representative weekend was Dragons lock Jack de Belin injuring his shoulder in Country’s shock defeat to city.

THE merits of City-Country are again under debate after Dragons lock Jack de Belin suffered a shoulder injury during the fixture that will rule him out for six to eight weeks.

Scans on Tuesday confirmed the injury with the tough-tackling de Belin beginning rehabilitation immediately.

The Rabbitohs depth has been dealt something of a blow with Tongan half Samisoni Langi suffering a suspected season-ending ACL injury early in the defeat to Samoa last Saturday.

Shaun Kenny-Dowall is also expected to miss some time after he was a late scratching from the New Zealand side in the lead up to the ANZAC Test defeat to Australia.

Kenny-Dowall has not been named for the Roosters this weekend.

Adam Blair’s suspension has opened the door for the impressive Jai Arrow to make his NRL debut for the Broncos.
