THE covers have come off the machine that Australia’s Jack Miller will ride in his debut season in the MotoGP World Championship.
The 20-year-old will race a Honda RC213V-RS for Lucio Cecchinello Racing, where he will be teammates with feisty British rider Cal Crutchlow on Honda’s factory-spec RC213V. Both bikes will carry backing from CWM FX, a British-based foreign exchange trading company.
Miller’s machine will wear the No. 43 he used as a junior in the sport, the white bike unveiled in a glitzy launch in London’s West End.

His speed in the Moto3 class, where he came up just short of a world championship victory last year, earnt him a three-year contract with Honda, who have placed him on an Open-class machine at the factory supported LCR squad.
Despite having never raced a machine more powerful than his Moto3 bike, Miller has shown steady improvement aboard the much more powerful MotoGP Honda in his three tests so far at Valencia in Spain and at Sepang in Malaysia.
“It’s been great since I came into the CWM LCR Honda Team,” Miller said.
“From the very first test in Valencia and then through the winter period we have been working closely together and it’s all been so positive, we seem to be hitting it off pretty well so far anyway!
“The Honda is an animal, that’s for sure, but I’m enjoying it more every time I ride it; anyone who watched me in Moto3 will know I love to throw a wheelie, and I love them even more with this bike!
“I just can’t wait for the season to get started.”
Miller’s next engagement will be the second round of MotoGP preseason testing at Sepang in Malaysia on February 23-25, with one more test to follow at Losail in Qatar on March 14-16.
The 2015 MotoGP World Championship gets underway under the lights at the Losail circuit in Qatar on March 26-29.
