AUSSIE Moto3 ace Jack Miller has seen his overall lead at the top of the standings reduced substantially after he crashed out of the Italian Grand Prix and saw his nearest challenger win the race.

Rising Red Bull KTM Ajo star Miller, who started second on the starting grid, was in line for some vital points before being involved in a last-lap collision with Alex Marquez (Estrella Galicia 0,0) and Enea Bastianini (Junior Team Go&FUN Moto3).

The race was won by Italian teenager Romano Fenati, on a KTM. Fenati clocked 39 minutes 46.256 seconds to finished just 0.01sec ahead of Isaac Vinales (KTM), who himself beat Spanish compatriot Alex Rins (Honda) by virtue of a faster best lap as they crossed the line together.

With Miller failing to finish, Fenati has closed to within five points on the overall standings after six races.
