The 29-year-old clocked 2hrs 27mins 1sec which was 44 seconds faster than her previous best time set in Melbourne in 2015.

It was Trengove’s first marathon since the Rio Olympics where she defied a nagging foot injury to finish 22nd.
Fellow South Australian Casey Wood impressed in her debut over the 42.2km distance, running 2:39:27 to finish 23rd in the elite women’s field in London.
Wood is the daughter of former Commonwealth Games and world championship representative Grenville Wood.
