Adelaide City-Bay Fun Run 2022 finish line to be live streamed by KommunityTV

Did you take part in today’s City-Bay? In a first, KommunityTV live streamed the event – relive the proud moment of reaching the finish line.

Thousands of runners and walkers have hit the streets of Adelaide for the long-awaited return of the City-Bay Fun Run.

And, for the first time, the finish line of SA’s biggest and most iconic running event was live streamed by KommunityTV in a massive four-hour broadcast.

Spectators can replay the moment elite athletes, friends and family crossed the finish at Colley Terrace, Glenelg.

See the proud moment you or your friends reached the end of the 3km, 6km or 12km, or half marathon (21km) events.

It comes after Covid forced the cancellation of the in-person fun run in 2020 and 2021, which were instead held virtually.

Race director Joe Stevens said he was stoked the event could run after its hiatus.

“Three years is a long time between runs,” Stevens said.

“This is one of the state’s most iconic community events.

“It’s like a parade of the best of SA. It’s a coming together of sport, community and charity in an atmosphere of inclusivity, colour and fun.”
