2025 Hart Premier Netball League Live stream: Cougars v Bull Sharks, Pulse v Wildcats, Tigers v Thunder, Round 14

With the minor premiership at stake in one game, it’s hard to believe another result from Sunday’s triple-header would claim honours in popularity. Watch all three games in full REPLAY.

Both Kedron-Wavell and Bond University will renew hostilities again next week in the qualifying final with the Cougars ahead as far as mind games are concerned after Sunday’s result.

The Cougars would be well pleased with claiming the minor premiership with their 79-73 victory against the Bull Sharks.

The final regular season round of the HART Premier Netball League Sapphire division always shaped as a finals test run for the two powerhouses.

But from now on the stakes will be much, much higher after both teams finished first and second following this weekend’s results.

For the record, the six-point victory allowed the Cougars to pull two points clear and percentage ahead of the Bull Sharks.

The Gold Coast Titans and the Sunshine Coast Thunder finished third and fourth respectively.

Goal shooter Nalani Makunde led the way for the Cougars with 73 goals at 98.65 per cent, while Mia Stower (33) and Kaylin van Greunen (31) did their part for the vanquished.

The were amazing scenes in the later contest, with new franchise Moreton Bay Pulse breaking through for their first ever win in the final game of the regular season.

Little separated them and the Brisbane South Wildcats all match as each enjoyed moments of authority before the Pulse prevailed 59-58 in thrilling circumstances.

Having lost their previous 13 matches, many fans in the stands stayed on to see if the Pulse could finally breakthrough and witness the historic occasion.

Goal shooter Ella Fitzgerald scored 42 goals and had great support from goal attack Chevvone Thomson (14).

In the other match of the triple header streamed exclusively by KommunityTV, the Sunshine Coast made easy work of the Carina Leagues Club Tigers, winning 82-59.

PREVIEW

The final regular season round of the HART Premier Netball League Sapphire division has arrived, pitting the two top teams against each other in what will shape as a finals test run.

Both Bond University and Kedron-Wavell have recorded 10 wins this season but the Bull Sharks sit two points above the Cougars thanks to a round four draw against Sunshine Coast.

That match at 4pm will be part of a Sunday triple header exclusively live streamed on KommunityTV.

The two other matches will see Carina Tigers play Sunshine Coast Thunder at 4pm and Moreton Bay Pulse welcome Brisbane South Wildcats at 6pm.

The winner of Sunday’s top of the table clash will claim the minor premiership and book their place in the qualifying final but a loss for the Cougars could see them slip to third place if Gold Coast are to beat Ipswich and boost their percentage.

“We’ve had the mindset of playing week-by-week and game by game which has really worked for us,” Bull Sharks head coach Rebecca Stower said.

“The girls are all really accountable for themselves and each other and we spoke on Tuesday night that we feel we’ve still got a lot of improvement left in us.”

The two teams played out a 61-58 scoreline in favour of Bond University in round five and Cougars head coach Elizabeth White said her side was yet to play their best brand of netball.“It is cliche but it doesn’t matter who we play to be honest, every game is a must win and we’ve experienced some hiccups along the way,” she said.

“I don’t think we have played our best netball yet, we have in patches as when we’re good we’re very good but when we’re bad we’re very bad unfortunately so consistency is still our focus.

“We’ve had experience now of having to battle through the final quarter which is a good thing as the girls have dug deep to find ways to win.”

Both teams will also be without key players with Jayden Molo (Bond University) and Lily Cubby (Kedron-Wavell) away at the First Nation’s tournament.

“I don’t feel as if it will be a true indication of how the semi final might go given both sides are depleted but for us it’s about seeing what works and what doesn’t,” Stower said.

“Finishing in the top two gives us two chances in the finals but I do think it’s unfortunate that this round’s game clashes with the First Nations matches,” White said.
