Modbury Jets have been crowned Reserves FSA Federation Cup champions after winning a penalty shootout against Adelaide City.
With the scores locked at 1-1 at the end of 90 minutes, the game went into extra time. Modbury immediately gained the advantage before City equalised less than two minutes into the final period of 15 minutes.
The Jets then held their nerve in driving rain in the shootout to take title.
Campbelltown City v FSA NTC (U18)
Meanwhile, an own goal right at the end of the first half of extra time proved the difference as Campbelltown City took the U18 FSA Federation Cup final.
In a tense game befitting a Cup final, Campbelltown grabbed the advantage when a corner from the right-hand-side was flicked over his goalkeeper by the defender on the post.
FSA NTC threw everything at their opponents in the second half of extra time to try and force penalties but Campbelltown held out.
PREVIEW

Campbelltown City U18s, who sit fourth on their league table, will take on the FSA NTC U18s, while Modbury clashes with Adelaide United in the Reserves.
Modbury captain Taj Claridge said his side was confident of winning its first Reserves Federation Cup after a recent dominant 4-0 victory over Adelaide Olympic.
“To win silverware this year would be enormous for our team and for the club. This group and its supporting staff have put in massive shifts of work throughout this year, with the backing of the club, and to reward them with a trophy would mean so much,” Claridge said.
“The semi-final performance just really reinforced what we as a team have been working towards and we, as a group, were satisfied with the result.
“We go into the final with Adelaide United well aware of the danger they pose and the possession-dominant style they play with, but we’re also confident in our own style of play and the adaptable game plan we have set.
“It’s an exciting opportunity for a lot of the boys and we’re ready for the challenge.”
For Joe Cox and his Campbelltown U18s side, an upset win over third-placed FSA NTC would add to what has been a solid season so far.
The club captain said he was happy with his team’s performances so far, but would not be totally satisfied unless they emerged victorious on Saturday.
“We’re currently sitting level on points with FSA NTC in the league and have been able to make it to the cup final, which is a great achievement, but we know there’s still a lot of challenges ahead,” Cox said.
“We’re focused on Saturday’s game and have prepared ourselves well.
“We know NTC will be a tough opponent and are well-coached with threats all around the park. They are a good side, but so are we – I believe we have the quality to bring it home.
“It would be very special for this team to win the Federation Cup in the club’s 60th year, bringing home some silverware would be the perfect achievement.”
Campbelltown, led by star Alex Mullen, will also compete in the senior Federation Cup final, with Anthony Solagna and MetroStars their opponent.
Both clubs have been top of the league table during season and have each won four of their past five league matches leading into the final.
The senior cup final will be live streamed on Football SA’s Facebook page.
