Hillcrest Christian College will head into day two of the Under-17 Division 1 competition riding a wave of momentum at the Australian Basketball Schools Championship.
After opening their tournament on the backfoot with a loss to Barker College, the Brisbane side stormed back into finals contention with a showstopping performance.

Hillcrest became the first Under-17 girls side to top triple figures as a full-court performance blew Blue Mountains Grammar off the court 108-24.
The game was a highlight fixture on the opening day’s live stream action across courts four and six at the Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre.
In the boys action on court six, St Augustine’s College under-20s side capped off an undefeated start to the tournament with slick performance against Kings Christian College.
Oliver Hammond led the way for the Queensland school with eight buckets from two-point range as they scored a 54-42 victory to close out the day’s action.
