SANFL Juniors U12 to U14 grand finals live stream: Brighton, Glenunga among clubs in action

One went to extra time in front of a packed crowd, while most were only decided by a single goal. Re-watch all of the SANFL junior grand finals now.

As Spiderman, two horses and a jockey watched on from the boundary fence, SMOSH West Lakes and Glenunga Rams put on a Hollywood style epic for the SANFL Under-14s crown.

The two sides needed extra time to split them after a thrilling back-and-forth Under-14 Boys Division 1 decider.

In the end it was the Rams, who fought back brilliantly in the second half, who snuck home with a 10.8 (68) to 10.7 (67) victory at Hisense Arena.

The Lions were the better side across the first half of the grand final, and appeared ready to run away with the game after opening a three goal lead at the main break.

But Glenunga refused to go away.

The Rams took a slender four-point lead into the final break after an impressive third term where they managed to restrict their rivals to only two behinds. Those efforts continued in the final quarter managing to draw level at 61-all in the shadows of the final siren.

Walkerville held on in a nailbiter to clinch the SANFL Under-13 Division 1 boys premiership against Henley Sharks Blue.

Walkerville kicked a late goal to secure glory 6.4 (40) to 4.8 (32) at Stratarama Stadium.

Walkerville led by as many as 16 points at halftime before the Sharks mounted a spirited fightback after the main break.

Henley managed to cut the lead to two points by three-quarter time, which is where it stayed through most of a seesawing final term.

But a late goal which grubbered through the posts was enough to stretch the margin as Walkerville ran away with glory despite their rivals enjoying more scoring opportunities.

In other Division 1 grand finals on Sunday, Brighton Bombers Black proved too strong for a spirited Unley Jets Blue in the Under-12 decider.

In a bell-to-bell performance, the Bombers were undeniable running out 8.7 (55) to 0.3 (3) victors at Stratarama Stadium.

In the Under-13 Girls Division 1 decider, the Glenunga Rams put in an epic second half to fight their way back from a 22-point deficit to win the premiership.

The Rams kicked four goals in the second half, and didn’t concede a single point at the other end, to down rivals Henley Sharks 5.7 (37) to 5.3 (33).
