Tuesday racing at Benalla with a good eight-race card and I’m confident we can get some money early in the day.

YONGTAI (Race 6 No. 7 – $2.80)

Charged home to score late at Bendigo then again powerful late when fast closing second at Cranbourne last time. Extra distance suits and even luck should see her winning.

NEXT BEST

MOON LIGHTNING (Race 1 – No. 6 – $3.90)

Moderate speed map and she should be right there from the start. Fought hard to go down narrowly last time and with Jamie Mott in the saddle she’s going to be in the thick of things for a long way.

VIRTUCON (Race 3 No. 10 – $5)

Makes her debut but looked good when soft winner recent Mornington jumpout with the blinkers on. Drawn well and expecting market support.

BEST VALUE

NEW YORK LUSTRE (Race 2 No. 8 – $14)

He’ll go close to breakthrough win at his third start after hitting the line with gusto when fourth at Cranbourne last time and the extra distance should suit.
