Jockey Tyler Schiller is confident he’s got the necessary firepower to claim a coveted Magic Millions 2YO Classic and 3YO Guineas double on Gallo Nero and Tuileries on the Gold Coast on Friday.
The Sydney star will make the trip back up to Queensland to ride after the Magic Millions Race Day had to be postponed following the third event last Saturday.
While the scheduled as changed, Schiller’s confidence has not with the former champion apprentice in an fantastic position to capture both features.

Schiller links up with smart Michael, John and Wayne Hawkes-trained colt Gallo Nero in the $3m Magic Millions 2YO Classic (1200m).
Gallo Nero ($6.50) was an excellent winner at Royal Randwick last month and will be aided by a perfect draw in barrier five.
“I thought his win was very impressive here (at Randwick),” Schiller said.
“He came off a steady speed, did pull a little bit but I think the pace in the Magic Millions will be very sharp with a bit more pressure.
“He is drawn perfectly to get a nice sit somewhere behind the speed but not too far back and he should be very suited by the tempo.
“Hopefully our main danger Icarian Dream is drawn wide and has to give us a bit of a start.
“If I can have my colt in the best place it can be, hopefully he has got a finish on him.”
Gallo Nero is a son of Europe’s super sire Wootton Bassett and has made nice progression throughout his debut preparation.
The lightly-raced talent missed the placings in his first start back in November but atoned with his second-up win and continues on an upward trajectory.

“First start he didn’t have a lot of luck first-up without a lot of cover and got a bit fierce,” Schiller said.
“When he got the cover second start, he showed that he has a good turn of foot so hopefully we can do the same in the Magic Millions.
“Hopefully the track can hold up to a stage that it’s somewhat far and gives everyone a chance.”
Schiller has been handed an entirely different scenario on Tuileries in the $3m Magic Millions 3YO Guineas (1400m).
A horrific draw that will see the Peter Snowden-trained filly jump from barrier 18 will ensure Schiller has his work cut out.
But Schiller believes Tuileries has the ability to overcome the significant challenge.
The smart daughter of So You Think has gone to a new level this time in, putting together a pair of dominant victories at Canterbury and Randwick.
“Tuileries is going well,” Schiller said.
“Her two wins this prep have been fantastic.

“I don’t know about the wet or the barrier or where we are going to get to but I would say Peter will want us somewhere midfield, three deep with a bit of cover.
“If we can be there I am sure it would be ideal and she’s not too far off the speed or chasing as well would be good.
“1400m she should lap up and hopefully she’s too strong for them late.”
Tuileries is the $6.50 favourite to win the 3YO Guineas despite the wide gate.
Schiller also pilots West Of Africa ($9.50) in the $2m Magic Millions Cup (1400m), Lavish Empire ($23) in the $1m Magic Millions Snippets (1200m) and Encoder ($5) in the $1 million magic Millions Subzero (2200m).
Outsider Corfe Castle ($81) rounds out his Magic Millions book in the $1.5m QTIS event.
Schiller will return home on Saturday morning and head straight to Rosehill Gardens where he has seven rides.
He will get the chance to chase more stakes glory aboard Foujita San in the Listed January Cup (2000m) while linking up with emerging star Perfumist earlier on the card.
