INSIDE MAIL – KEMBLA

RACE 1

Barazin closed off well late when second to Pasima first-up over 1600m at Wyong before a close third to Cheval Savant over 1800m on the Kensington. At his peak and will relish the 2000m. Scottish Pearl was just pipped on a heavy track at Goulburn before leading and finishing second to the promising Tastula over this track and distance last start. Rhinestone Lad raced three back the rails before getting to the middle of the track after straightening and closing well to win over 1600 at Newcastle. That run and his breeding point to 2000m being ideal.

Bet: Barazin to win

RACE 2

Synergize copped a heavy bump at the start and down the track behind Burj first-up at Newcastle. Returned there with a closing three-quarter length third to Puerto Banus after being held up until the 300m. Yes Isla Yes was fourth to Snow In May and Due Calzini on debut at Wagga. Resumes here off a nice trial win. Safrano was backed from $4.20 into $3.20 favourite on debut when down the track behind Miss Backchat at Canberra. She pulled up with heat stress so forgive the run.

Bet: Synergize to win

RACE 3

Mogwai resumes from a spell for a new stable. Kicked off last preparation with a closing neck third behind Spirit Of Varanasi and Watch My Girl and beat home Eye Of The Fire over this track and distance. Drawn well and can give this a shake. So Good So Cool resumes off two nice trial wins at Wyong and Newcastle. Has placed in three of five first-up. Gelatin raced keenly when last behind Accredited in a Bm72 at Warwick Farm over 1200m. Will appreciate the drop back in grade and is a second-up winner at this track.

Bet: Mogwai each-way

RACE 4

California Waves was a little keen first-up before finishing third behind Hyperbolic and Simply Just at Newcastle. Backed into $2.50 fav at Hawkesbury second-up when a three-quarter length winner from Swelter. Drawn well and gets a 2kg claim. Tomba was back and wide but made up ground when sixth to First Mission on debut at Hawkesbury. Appreciated a good tempo when he charged home out wide to score a big win from Pick Up The Tab over 1400m here on Dec 12. How Much Better is knocking on the door for another win. Runner-up in both runs at this track.

Bet: California Waves to win

RACE 5

Pink Shalala was first-up for over a year when runner-up to Mostro over 1350m at Wyong back in June before dropping back to 1200m on a heavy track when third to Unstopabull at Warwick Farm. Resumes here off two nice trials including a Warwick Farm heat win. Monty The Missile just tied late when a length sixth to Arriving Home at Warwick Farm first-up before a third to Lough Eske on the Beaumont. Placed over 1500m here last campaign. Rebel Rhapsody boxed on for third at Hawkesbury two starts back before closing from last when third to Tessy Tee there last start.

Bet: Pink Shalala to win

RACE 6

Moncarolinia resumed over 900m at Newcastle with a fourth to Generous Harry on Oct 19. Wasn’t seen again until Dec 12 when a second to Dark Gleam over 1200m here after racing three-wide for the last 900m. Looks like she will appreciate the step up to 1400m. Rybakina was wide from the 700m when fifth behind Verona Rose here first-up. Led for the first time when fifth to Tuileries at Canterbury. Cuban Rain made good ground in the straight when sixth to Alinea and Crepe Myrtle on the Kensington last start.

Bet: Moncarolinia each-way

RACE 7

Tessy Tee raced keenly on debut when runner-up to Ballinderry Sal at Scone in June. Resumed at Hawkesbury three weeks ago with an impressive all-the-way win. Drawn a perfect barrier and can go back-to-back. Cash And Cards was beaten a half-head on debut by Codetta in July. Kicked off this campaign with a solid win from Webejamin at a long odds-on favourite at Canberra on Dec 13. Has drawn out a little but gets a 2kg claim. Dark Gleam raced well in his first preparation with a handy debut fifth before two placings. Returned with a nice won from Moncarolinia over 1200m here 16 days ago.

Bet: Tessy Tee to win
