Hot jockey Ethan Brown completed The Meteorite-Cranbourne Cup double-header on Saturday with a brilliant ride on Globe.
Brown, who won the Group 1 Thousand Guineas last Saturday week, rolled forward from barrier six to lead the Cranbourne Cup and would not be headed again.
Cranbourne is the last place a giant like Globe would be effective at but an easy time in front allowed the Mick Price and Michael Kent Jr-trained galloper to balance and get around the tight home bend.

“If he had been pressured and brought undone, it may be a different story,” Brown said.
“That’s why we rode him forward, to establish a lead, get him happy and don’t rush it.”
Globe returned $4.40 with Ladbrokes.
South Australian raider Air Assault dug deep late but could not get closer than a long neck.
Dashing stuck on for third from Nugget.
Brown, who finished with a treble on Saturday after earlier wins on Harry Got Styles and Nadal, said Globe could progress further next campaign.
“He’s Group class I reckon, the fitter he gets the better he’ll get,” Brown said.
“Once he gets out in trip and is rock hard fit, he’ll take some catching.
“Hopefully I can stay on him going forward because I feel he’s getting back to his best.”

Brown said Globe benefited from a workout at Cranbourne last Tuesday.
“In his work the other day, I felt he’d improved,” Brown said.
“It was a hot day, which could have easily brought him undone … but he kept his cool.
“We established such a beautiful lead. He pricked his ears. I knew I was on a fit horse to have it up the tempo a long way out and try and break them, and that’s what happened.
“He’ll improve again out of this run. I’m confident he’ll get back to where they thought he was heading before he got injured.”
Globe was touted as a potential Cox Plate candidate before a heart scare 14 months ago at The Valley put any race plans on hold.
He recovered and returned in the autumn, placed fourth in a Group 3 at Caulfield, then spent more time on the sidelines after a knock to the shoulder while being exercised in a water walker.
Globe completed the comeback on Saturday with Cranbourne Cup success after being second in the Chester Manifold Stakes the start before.
Globe delivered Price a third Cranbourne Cup after Pakal (2013) and Octabello (2018) and first with Kent Jr, born and bred in the suburb.
“It’s fantastic for the owners because we took a big punt on this race,” Price said.
“He’s a 17-hand horse getting around Cranbourne where I have my worst strike rate, and I thought, greed is good for a $500,000 race. What do you do?
“I saw the 1800m next week (Eclipse Stakes) and said we should go the soft route … what a nice race for him … winning is good.”
