Brilliant filly Perfumist has trainer Bjorn Baker considering a lucrative target across the Tasman after she extended her winning streak at Rosehill Gardens on Saturday.
Perfumist made it four victories on the bounce with a bold front running effort to win the Racing And Sports Benchmark 78 Handicap (1500m).
Baker is keen to raise the bar higher and could target New Zealand’s new slot race, the inaugural $3.5m NZB Kiwi (1500m) on March 8.

“It’s ($3.5m), even New Zealand dollars it’s pretty good money,” Baker said.
“There will be a lot of slot takers.
“It could be interesting and might be an option but she is definitely heading towards black type.”
The win continued the Baker stable’s incredible hot streak with the Warwick Farm conditioner back in NSW after claiming the $3m Magic Millions 2YO Classic with O’Ole on Friday night at the Gold Coast.
Perfumist has been a key contributor to the stable’s winning run.
The daughter of El Roca started her streak at Mudgee before putting together city successes at Canterbury, Royal Randwick and now Rosehill.
“She has done a marvellous job,” Baker said.
“That’s four in-a-row. We actually bought her at the Ready To Run Sale in New Zealand about a year and a half ago.
“She has taken work and is starting to put it together now.

“I thought she probably defied the pattern today, she was very good and her work on Tuesday was outstanding so on that alone I gave her a big chance.”
Tyler Schiller made the decision to go forward from an awkward draw and was able to control matters from out in front on Perfumist ($3 favourite).
She kicked a length clear at the top of the straight and her rivals never got closer than that.
Perfumist scored by two-and-three-quarter lengths from the David Pfieffer-trained Oh Diamond Lil ($5.50) and Chris Waller’s Bright Red ($17).
“I think she is going to be better up in trip,” Schiller said.
“She is still over racing a bit but I was very happy with the way when I got there, she relaxed from the 800m to the 400m when I needed her too.
“I think when she goes further she is going to be better but she definitely stayed on strong today.”
It was the second time this weekend that Schiller was in the winner’s stall wearing the silks of OTI Racing.
The former Sydney champion apprentice scored in the $2 million Magic Millions Cup (1400m) aboard West Of Africa.
