INSIDE MAIL – BEAUMONT
RACE 1
Tasoraay sat outside the leader and was hampered near the 300m when third to Metaphorically on the Kensington last start. Was a close fourth to Raikkonen at Canterbury before that. Gets a 2kg claim but has a wide gate to overcome. Rockbarton Flash was a head second on debut at Scone behind Churchill’s Choice who has won again. Battled away for fourth to Burj in a solidly run 1300m at Newcastle on Dec 1. Monte Braveheart Drops back a little in trip from his sixth to Road To Paradise over 1500m on the main track on Dec 7.
Bet: Tasoraay to win.
RACE 2
Reasonable was first-up in seven weeks and raced a little green in the straight when a half-length third to Isla Negra and Shambretta at Hawkesbury on Nov 28 after racing outside the leader. Will be better for the run and a tongue tie goes on. Rickythesteamboat closed strong from last first-up when a half-length fourth behind Arriving Home over 1100m at Warwick Farm. Should appreciate the step up in trip. Kotaishi was just caught late by Zan after leading at Canterbury before a fourth to Rose’s Legacy over 1500m on the main track here last start.
Bet: Reasonable to win

Harry's Bar raced on the speed and proved far too good in Race 2 at Canterbury ðð¥@racing_nsw | @aus_turf_clubpic.twitter.com/mg6X8PxHo6
RACE 3
Cold Brew is a debutant by Pierro from the Richard and Will Freedman stable. Has been very good in both trials, the latest a win from Simply Just at Rosehill after stalking the leaders. Monty The Missile raced outside the leader when a length sixth to Arriving Home when resuming over 1100m at Warwick Farm. Will take improvement from the run. Prosperous Dragon is a debutant by Russian Revolution from the Jake Hull stable. Showing good ability at the trials winning four of his five heats, the latest by a widening length-and-a-half from Bernen Win here on Dec 4.
Bet: Cold Brew to win
RACE 4
Jack Duggan has been okay in his three runs back from a spell over unsuitable distances. Right in his element stepping up to 2000m. Was fourth in his only run here at this corresponding meeting last year. Hunter Bred just behind the placegetters on the main track here and on the Kensington over 1850m and 1800m before stepping up to 2000m when runner-up to Mannerheim at Wyong last week. Placed his only run at this track and distance and will be prominent again. Gulf Of Tomini made wide a run from last passing the 600m when second to Baglioni in the Golden Mile at Tuncurry second-up. Extra trip suits.
Bet: Jack Duggan to win
RACE 5
Manuscript resumed with a two-and-a-quarter-length win from Algarve over 1000m at Wyong on Nov 9. Was a month between runs when fifth to Private Harry over 1200m at Rosehill. Will be fitter for the run and can bounce back. Bartolf was wide for the last 700m but made ground when fourth to Hydrometer at Wyong first-up on Oct 31. Has since finished third behind Moravia in a Canterbury trial on Dec 3. Cape Byron came a long way last campaign from a maiden win first-up in January and ended with a last to Elson Boy in a Bm72 at the Scone stand-along meeting in May.
Bet: Manuscript to win
Win of the day goes to the local @Leesracing trained FRENCH MARINE who was most impressive in the Tozer Air BM68 Hcp over 1150m with @Aaronbullock90 in the saddle. One to follow! Congrats to the connections. ð pic.twitter.com/u2kvx4jlaP

RACE 6
French Marine has won first-up just once in six starts but that was by nearly three lengths with 61.5kg over this track and distance at the corresponding meeting two years ago. Carrier 55kg after the claim and has been kept under a hold in both trials. Proud Image should have finished much closer. Bounced back with a good win from Jaex in the Mudgee Sprint on Dec 6. Zoe Shark led when she won on the main track here two starts back before a slow start and sitting back when fourth to Zealously at Wyong.
Bet: French Marine each-way
RACE 7
Aweigh is a first starter by Merchant Navy from the Ryan and Alexiou stable. Tracked the speed and kept under a hold to the line when third to The Enchanter in her Canterbury trial on Dec 3. Alliteration is a Waterhouse and Bott trained Exceed And Excel filly on debut. Sat outside the leader when a head second to Gamp with a big gap to the others in their Randwick trial on Nov 26. Moonlight Dream was eased off heels near the 200m when seventh to Arriving Home on debut at Warwick Farm. Will take improvement from the run.
Bet: Aweigh to win
