Former Leicester keeper Pegguy Arphexad: I’m not a porn star

TALES of former keeper Pegguy Arphexad from inside the Leicester City change room led to rumours of a career in porn.

Pegguy Arphexad had a big ... personality.

THE name Pegguy Arphexad is not one spoken too often when discussing retired football stars.

The 42-year-old spent 16 years as a professional goalkeeper in France and the UK, but managed to make just 39 league appearances.

Often picked as the second-string keeper, Arphexad had stints with newly-crowned English Premier League champion Leicester City and Liverpool, making 23 appearances across a six year period.

While he may not be remembered for his brilliance on the field, his legend off it is ... well, legendary.

During his time at Leicester City, teammates quickly caught onto the fact that Pegguy was gifted in one specific area.

“When Pegguy went for a pee, he didn’t shake it, he kicked it,” former teammate Muzzy Izzet wrote in his book My Story. “The joke in the dressing room was that he used to feed it mice.”

Why the schlong face?

Unsurprisingly, the size of Arphexad’s third leg led to all kinds of rumours surrounding the use of his phallus after his retirement.

One such rumour, which managed to gain significant traction, suggested the keeper took his talents to the porn industry.

In a recent interview with the former footballer, The Leicester Mercury drew the long straw and got to ask Pegguy whether the whispers were true.

LEICESTER MERCURY: “Hello Pegguy — nice to see you here.”

PEGGUY ARPHEXAD: “Aw, it is so great to be back. I don’t think I’ve been here since 2001. Fifteen years. I’ve just seen Walshy and Marshy and Matt Elliott. Jon Rudkin. He’s the football director now isn’t he? Amazing. It’s still a great club.”

LEICESTER MERCURY: “Yes, yes, that’s all great — but is it true that you are now starring in porn movies, Pegguy?”

PEGGUY ARPHEXAD: “Who says this?”

LEICESTER MERCURY: “I don’t know. It’s just a rumour. I’ve heard it a few times.”

PEGGUY ARPHEXAD: “Look, this is a bad rumour. It’s been going round a long time. One English guy wrote on the internet years and years ago that I was doing this and now people say to me: ‘Hey, are you making porn films?’

“I haven’t made ANY porn films, okay. I don’t do that. I work for a sports insurance company. That’s what I do. Put it in your paper — I don’t do porn films, just insurance, okay?”
