Russian player Norik Avdalyan stuns rivals, teammates with incredible backflip penalty
IT doesn’t get any more audacious than this! Russian Norik Avdalyn scored a goal that left the opposition goalkeeper totally stunned and confused. His teammates didn’t know how to react either.
NORIK Avdalyn netted a breathtaking back flip penalty during Rubin Kazan’s Under-21 clash against Ural at the weekend.
The Russian starlet has sent social media into meltdown after he bamboozled goalkeeper Yaroslav Hodzyur with his audacious spot-kick.
Advalyan, 22, only joined Rubin in the summer, but he is certainly making quite the impression at his new club.
The midfielder has been lauded for his sheer creativity, as he left the opposition shot-stopper stunned and confused as the ball rifled into the top right corner.
He ran off celebrating in delight, with his team-mates failing to react in a similar manner.
And it should come as no surprise that they looked less than impressed, considering Advalyan has a history of scoring in the same fashion.
He banged in an identical penalty for Team NSFL last year, proving this goal was no fluke.
