THE Socceroos have sealed their passage to the Asian Cup quarter-finals with an emphatic 4-0 triumph over Oman in Sydney.
First-half goals from Matt McKay, Robbie Kruse and Mark Milligan set up the win in the most ominous 45 minutes from any side in the tournament thus far, before Tomi Juric put the icing on the cake during a second-half cameo.

It was an impressive display by Ange Postecoglou’s side, who played with great energy, organisation and fluency. Milligan and McKay, who replaced Mile Jedinak and James Troisi, commanded the midfield, while Oman struggled to contain a dynamic display from Robbie Kruse and Mathew Leckie.
Australia take on South Korea in Brisbane on Saturday night in a bid to decide top spot in Group A.
