It’s understood Troisi’s affordable buyout clause has made the 31-year-old an interesting prospect for a return to China via mediators acting on the player’s behalf.
An A-League club is also lurking to sign Troisi in January.

Troisi has scored once for the Reds – a crucial winner against Newcastle Jets – and created two assists in his eight Adelaide matches since making his United debut in round three.
Troisi spent six months in China with Liaoning FC in 2016 before returning to Melbourne Victory.
