Live A-League grand final: Perth Glory v Sydney FC at Optus Stadium

Some pinpoint spot kicks and two saves from goalkeeper Andrew Redmayne  have handed Sydney FC the 2018-19 A-League title as Perth Glory faltered under pressure after mostly dominating the previous 120 minutes.

Sydney FC have beaten Perth Glory 4-1 on penalties in the A-League grand final after the match ended 0-0 after extra time.

Sydney goalkeeper Andrew Redmayne was the hero, saving penalties from Andy Keogh and Brendon Santalab in the shootout.

The match, attended by a record A-League grand final crowd of 56,371, was the first decider in eight years to be goalless at full-time.
