It was a mixed bag of results across the state.
Adelaide United was stunned by Wellington Phoenix, the Adelaide Strikers defeated the Sydney Sixers for the first time ever but then went down to them the next day, the Adelaide 36ers had a terrific win over the Perth Wildcats in WA, and the Adelaide Giants struggled against the Sydney Blue Sox.

From the cricket pitch to the basketball court, there were plenty of players who were terrific for our teams.
NIKOLA MILEUSNIC (ADELAIDE UNITED)
In a disappointing afternoon for the Reds, Mileusnic’s goal was an absolute banger.
After a delightful touch from Riley McGree, Mileusnic controlled the ball before volleying it into the top right corner in a goal of the season contender.
That goal will take some beating.
SOPHIE DEVINE (ADELAIDE STRIKERS)
The Adelaide Strikers had never beaten the Sydney Sixers, but that record was destroyed on Saturday.
After the Sixers made just 9/93, the Strikers went to work and smashed past that total after 15 overs.
Devine was massive with 46 off 43 deliveries and she brought up her 2000th career WBBL run in the process.
Superstar.
DANIEL JOHNSON (ADELAIDE 36ERS)
Coming from Western Australia, Johnson enjoyed a happy return home as he blitzed the Perth Wildcats.
Johnson, despite the Wildcats double teaming him in the second half, scored 29 points and had a career-high 17 rebounds.
The 36ers comfortably defeated the Wildcats in a massive statement to the NBL.
CURTIS MEAD (ADELAIDE GIANTS)
The Giants came crashing back down to earth this week, but avoided a sweep to the Sydney Blue Sox with a 7-4 win on Sunday afternoon.
Mead finished with four hits and clubbed a ninth-inning home run at Blacktown International Sportspark.
ALEX CAREY (SA REDBACKS)
Despite the Redbacks struggling early against Western Australia, captain Alex Carey came to the rescue.
Carey made 143 off 200 deliveries, including 23 fours and two sixes as the Redbacks were all out for 353.
At stumps, WA is 4/70 and lead by 209 runs.
