D’ARCY SHORT – 1

Second ball duck, couple of fumbles in the field.

CHRIS LYNN – 5

Only got 15 but hung around for a bit and unlucky to get out.

ALEX CAREY – 6

Was stoic as wickets fell around him, but shouldn’t have got out how he did.

GLENN MAXWELL – 4

Looked in good nick and was positive, but unsettled by a sharp shot to his thumb.

MARCUS STOINIS - 5

Threw away his wicket at a crucial time, but took three wickets with the ball.

NATHAN COULTER-NILE – 6

Was positive and aggressive with the bat, took a wicket, but went for 16 off his first over.

PAT CUMMINS – 6

Was batting well before being run-out, followed it up with a powerful but fruitless effort with the ball.

MITCH STARC – 5

His 12 with the bat was good and showed pace and aggression with the ball but was a touch expensive.

JOSH HAZLEWOOD – 5

Like his fellow bowlers tried valiantly but had little to work with and couldn’t keep the pressure on.
