Rising boxing star Dylan Biggs has slammed the dark antics of rival Nikita Tszyu and declared his family’s reputation in the sport will mean nothing when they step into the ring.

Queensland sensation Dylan Biggs has slammed Nikita Tszyu’s dark behaviour as cringe-worthy and rubbished suggestions he will be forced to walk out first in their title blockbuster.

The unbeaten young guns will wage Australia’s domestic fight of the year when Biggs (10-0, 7KO) puts his super welterweight belt on the line against Tszyu (7-0, 6KO) in Newcastle on Wednesday night.

The Team Tszyu camp has thrown the first grenade by claiming Nikita will walk to the ring second and controversially defy boxing’s tradition of the title challenger coming out first.

However, “Beaudesert Storm” Biggs returned serve when he said “baby Tszyu” would be walking out first before the real top dog, Australia’s youngest boxing champion at age 21, made his grand entrance.

“It should be earned, not given,” Biggs said before one of the most anticipated domestic fights in 20 years.

“Nikita Tszyu shouldn’t have the right to walk out second just because of his name and status.

“They can’t take that right away from me as the champion and the belt holder.

“They can try and pull the ‘he’s the pay-per-view star, he’s the reason we’re selling the card’, but I’m the belt holder, so I’ll walk out second.

“I’m the champion.”

Nicknamed “The Butcher”, Nikita is becoming more sadistic with every victory.

Last week, the 25-year-old released a promotional video in which he is seen eating raw steak alongside his dog Lucifer, before throwing a knife at a picture of Biggs’ face posted to a wall.

Tszyu 3.0 is famed for eating cow liver, bull testicles and still-beating king cobra hearts but Biggs said Nikita’s antics were attention-seeking slapstick.

“There are no raw steaks or throwing knives with me,” Biggs said.

“It (the Tszyu video) made me cringe. It was just embarrassing. I didn’t see the point of it.

“I didn’t see what they gained from it, it was pretty stupid.

“There’s no bad blood over a stupid press thing he does but I’m going to knock him out and nothing he can do will change that.”

Such is the hype around Nikita, he will start favourite with bookmakers, but the clean-living, booze-free Beaudesert Storm is coming to rain on Tszyu’s parade.

Biggs is plotting a stoppage because he fears being robbed by the judges given Tszyu is the golden boy on No Limit’s fight card.

“I can’t imagine myself winning a (points) decision in Newcastle,” Biggs said.

“So I’m not going for the decision. It’s going to be a knockout.

“There’s no quit in me. There’s not one part of me that will quit in this fight.

“I have worked hard and built my life to reach this next step. A win will slingshot my career to the next stage.

“There’s no drinking. No smoking. Never touched that stuff in my life. I’ve always been dedicated to my craft.

“It has the makings to be one of the best cards this year in Australia.

“All I want to do is make that happen and show I can knock baby Tszyu out.

“I’m ready to go.”
