36ERS STARS COP BANS
Montrezl Harrell and Kendric Davis will both be sidelined for their roles in a wild one-court melee during Adelaide’s loss to Melbourne United on November 17.
Harrell copped a three-game ban from the NBL tribunal on Monday night while Davis was rubbed out for two matches for inappropriate grabbing or handling of a spectator.
The pair are the two most expensive players in SuperCoach, with Harrell priced at $438,400 and Davis $435,300 – and coaches had already starting planning how to get one or both before Adelaide’s round 11 double.
As it stands Davis will miss the first game of that double-game round but is eligible for the second, while Harrell will miss rounds 10 and 11.
BREAKERS’ HUGE RECRUIT
Freddie Gillespie’s short stint in the NBL is over, and the NZ Breakers have signed former NBA player Tacko Fall as his replacement.
Fall, who stands 229cm and was a fan favourite with the Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers, has been training with the Breakers since their early-season trip to the USA and is eligible to suit up for the first game of round 10 on Thursday night – game one of a Breakers double.
Stand by for his addition to the SuperCoach platform!

INJURY WATCH
There are several big SuperCoach names under clouds after recent injury issues.
Kristian Doolittle has been heavily traded out after he was hurt in the second game of Perth’s round 9 double, but coaches may have to rethink that move after the latest injury news.
Kristian Doolittle has been practicing and the knee injury he suffered against Brisbane before the FIBA break is not expected to keep him out of Perth Wildcats games.

At the Bullets, Casey Prather (hip flexor) is trending towards playing against the Wildcats while there is a watch on Josh Bannan, who appeared to hurt his ankle in the Boomers’ win over Thailand during the NBL break.
Meanwhile, Max Darling and Mojave King are both probable for the NZ Breakers’ double against Illawarra and Perth this weekend – but Jonah Bolden is unlikely. Sam Mennenga copped a knock to the hip against Cairns that kept him out of the Tall Blacks games during the FIBA break, but it was minor. He will play against the Hawks.
At Melbourne United, Jack White has returned to training after suffering a calf injury and is firming for a return from injury against Sydney Kings on Sunday – putting him right in the trade frame for United’s back-to-back doubles in rounds 11 and 12.
ON THE DOUBLE
The schedule is the key to SuperCoach NBL success. Targeting players from teams that play twice in a round will give you twice as many opportunities to score points.
There are four teams on the double in round 10 – Perth Wildcats, Sydney Kings, NZ Breakers and Illawarra Hawks.
Perth will play the fourth of its stretch of five straight double game rounds, and the clear No.1 trade target this week is NBL and SuperCoach superstar Bryce Cotton, whoreturned from a rib injury last round.
Despite posting 71 points in the Perth Wildcats’ round 9 double, Cotton lost $18,600 in value and is now priced at $323,700 – more than $120,000 under his starting price. That’s just too good to pass up for the best player in the game.
The Breakers are about to play four doubles in a row – if you don’t have Parker Jackson-Cartwright, he’s another priority target. The Kings and Hawks will play a one-off double before going back to single-game rounds. Prioritise Breakers and Wildcats with your trades, but a one-week rental of a premium scorer like Xavier Cooks could pay off big time.
The Brisbane Bullets are on a single this week but from round 11 they play doubles every week until round 18. If you are picking on form – and want to make some quick cash – you can’t go past Bullets guard James Batemon, who scored a staggering 83 points last round and is projected by SuperCoach Plus to increase in value by a whopping $53,000 after his next game.
Brisbane’s schedule makes finding players to trade out tricky, but one Wildcat on the chopping block is Elijah Pepper, who scored just 14 points in the Wildcats’ double and lost money – not what we want from a cash cow!

2. Jason Batemon (BRI)
3. Parker Jackson-Cartwright (NZ)

CAPTAIN CALL
It’s a toss of the coin between the two biggest scorers in SuperCoach NBL, who are both on a double game round – Bryce Cotton and Parker Jackson-Cartwright. If it helps, the Wildcats faces the Bullets (seventh on the ladder) in the first game of their double and the Breakers play Illawarra (third) before Perth and NZ face off in the final game of the round – a head-to-head captaincy shootout!
If you want to be different Xavier Cooks has the highest projected score of the round from SuperCoach Plus – 79 points. The Kings play Cairns (last on the table) and Melbourne United (first) in their double game round.
