Welcome to the remarkably close run home to the NBL finals, where the difference between first and eighth position is just four wins.

Illawarra sit on top of the ladder with a 13-7 record, but just one win separates first to third while there is also one win separating fourth to sixth.

Picking the championship winner at this point feels like an impossible task.

Code Sports looks at each team’s run home to determine who makes the top six from here. We’re tipping the in-form South East Melbourne Phoenix to rise up the ladder, while defending champions Tasmania will just hold on to a top six position.
