Manhunt for fan seen in viral clip that shocked United States

Police have identified and issued an arrest warrant for the NFL fan at the centre of a troubling, viral video that shocked the country.

This might be his first loss.

The Baltimore police department has issued a warrant for the arrest of the Ravens fan who went viral in a social media video showing him assaulting two Commanders fans after the two teams played on Monday (AEDT).

Baltimore police told The New York Post in an email that 24-year-old Baltimore native John Callis is “currently wanted for first-degree aggravated assault and three counts of second-degree assault.”

Callis was seen in a video approaching two Commanders fans and kicking, punching and slamming them in a violent episode that appeared to be unprovoked.

“I don’t lose! I don’t f***ing lose!” Callis said in the video after beating up the Commanders fans.

In the video, a man wearing a (Baltimore quarterback) Lamar Jackson jersey approaches two fans in Commanders jerseys and beats both of them up, as a man recording the video yells, “We’ve got a straggler!”

Two 23-year-old Commanders fans were allegedly assaulted by John Callis in Baltimore on Sunday.

In their warrant announcement, Baltimore police said that the two alleged victims were both 23-year-old males.

Earlier this week, Callis’ former employer, Baltimore insurance company Maury Donnelly & Parr, Inc., announced it had parted ways with him.

“MDP has a zero-tolerance policy for violence and aggressive behaviour. This individual is no longer employed with our firm,” the company wrote on X.

Baltimore police urged anybody with more information about Sunday’s incident to reach out to Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland at 1-866-7Lockup.

Fox 5 DC reported earlier this week that Callis was previously charged with second-degree assault stemming from an altercation with a police officer in Florida in 2021.

He was placed on probation after pleading not guilty.

On the field, the Ravens defeated the Commanders, 30-23, after which both teams had a 4-2 record on the season.
