Josh Giddey forgot to bring his shooting game as the 19-year-old made just one bucket all night in the Thunder’s 13-point loss to the Houston Rockets.
The result consigned the Thunder to their sixth straight loss as the baby-faced squad continues to build their young NBA careers.

It was also Houston’s third win on the trot, although they still languish at the foot of the Western Conference.
Giddey went 1-9 during the 25 minutes he was on the court, although he led the team in assists with seven for what feels like the umpteenth time.
One of the seven included a delicious pass for Luguentz Dortz.
Dortz dished the ball to Giddey in their backcourt before sprinting up the other end alongside his Australian compatriot.
The 19-year-old passed the ball perfectly to Dortz’s hands as he slammed the ball home for an explosive basket.

Giddey also snared five rebounds to complete his game.
The two points was Giddey’s lowest in his rookie season and ended his run of six straight games in which he had posted double figures.
However, fellow Aussie Joe Ingles had no such scoring woes for the Utah Jazz.
The Boomers veteran rained down four three-pointers to score 14, also claiming six assists as the Jazz trumped the Portland Trail Blazers 129-107 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Ingles, who entered the game on back-to-back double-figure points hauls, looked like his usual self throughout his half-hour spell on the hardwood.
His cool, calm and collected nature was epitomised when Jazz star Donovan Mitchell faked a shot from outside the top of the arc and dished it out to Ingles, who could have made a roast dinner in the time he had between receiving Donovan’s pass and sinking a three.

The Jazz’s win now moves them to a 13-7 record and keeps them in third spot in the Western Conference, while the Trail Blazers sit even at 10-10 and four spots below Utah.
