ON-BALLER Toby Stribling and Todd Pfeiffer have quit South Adelaide.

It is believed the pair told the club they were not enjoying their football and wanted to be released from their contracts.

"We have all been challenged about our performances here this year - coaches, players, board members and staff,'' Panthers football manager Neil Sharpe said.

"When things get too difficult you either tough it out or walk away.''
