Port Adelaide has retained a key pillar of its young defence for the long haul, with full back Tom Clurey inking a four-year contract extension.
The 25-year-old, who was due to fall out of contract at the end of the year, has re-signed to the end of 2023.
And star veterans Robbie Gray, 31, and former captain Travis Boak, 30, have also signed new deals.
The pair has already met trigger clauses in their contracts which will see them stay at Alberton until at least the end of next year.
Some good news for your Wednesday morning!

The Power’s four-year deal for Clurey is a massive show of faith in the key backman, who is enjoying such an outstanding season that club great Kane Cornes says he should be in the All-Australian conversation.
Clurey — drafted at pick 29 at the 2012 national draft from Victorian TAC Cup side Murray Bushrangers — took until 2017 to establish himself in the Port team.
But he is now an integral part of a strong, young backline that also includes co-captain Tom Jonas, Dan Houston, Darcy Byrne-Jones, Dougal Howard, Riley Bonner and Ryan Burton.
“It’s great to sign a long-term deal to remain at the club,” Clurey said.
“I have loved my time at Port so far and I am really excited by the group we have.
“As a defensive unit we are gelling really well, but we are always looking at areas where we can improve.”
Power football general manager Chris Davies said he has been pleased with the progression of the key defender.
“It’s great news for the club to sign Tom on a four-year deal,” he said.
“He’s a really important player in our young and exciting defensive set-up, and he has been in some good form.
“We look forward to his continued development and leadership for the rest of the season and beyond.”
Clurey managed just 18 games in his first four years at Alberton but has played 49 in the past three.
