Port Adelaide has launched a dating competition designed to match Power fans looking for love.
In a video released on the Power’s Twitter account, the club says it has organised “expert matchmakers” who are looking for “single Port lads and ladies who are ready to mingle” to match-up two supporters at a game.
“Are you a true believer, looking for love? Have you wasted time and money on a romance only to discover your love interest is from the wrong side of West Lakes Boulevard? Well never again,” a voiceover says.
“If you’re in the market for a black, white and teal romance, we want you. You and your perfect pear will have a first date like no other.”

Fans can apply by filling out an online form at weareportadelaide.com.au, with the selected couple to meet for the first time at the Adelaide Oval at a Power home game. Their date will involve watching the match from an open-air corporate box.
The dating competition has already received the seal of approval from Power great Kane Cornes.
“This is cool, this is a mix between MAFS, Bachelor and Tinder … only it’s classy. So stay tuned for that if you’re looking for love,” he said on his SEN brekkie show this morning.
