The Magpies were the butt of jokes nationwide after spelling tonight “tonihgt” in giant letters before the Pies played Carlton.

As it turned out, the sequel was better than the original.
When the cheer squad unveiled its banner before tonight’s Collingwood v Adelaide clash, it looked at first like something went horribly wrong again.
But there were so many mistakes it could only have been done deliberately ... we hope.
Creating a banner each week is done by volunteers who largely go unnoticed, except when they make a mistake. So this week, we tip our hats to the most diehard Pies fans.
