Carlton forward Charlie Curnow will miss at least the next two weeks after sustaining bone bruising in his right knee against Port Adelaide on Saturday.
The update is a huge relief for the Blues, with there being some initial concerns the knee injury could have been a lot more serious.
However, the young gun forward is expected to miss either two or three weeks.

Speaking to Channel 9 this morning, Curnow said he wasn’t concerned about possible ACL damage.
“That’s all cleared, I’m pretty sure,” Curnow told Nine News.
“It (the knee) feels pretty good.
“Just pulled up a bit sore last night.
“After we strapped it up, we just made the decision to not really risk it.
“Just had the scan then so have to wait and see for the results.”
The Blues will take on Sydney, Gold Coast and the Western Bulldogs across the next three weeks.
