DRAFT TRACKER: EVERY CLUB, EVERY PICK
ANALYSIS: HOW DID YOUR CLUB FARE?
Boekhorst was last night snapped up by the Blues, who took the 21-year-old at pick 19 — the club’s first selection in the star-studded draft.
But it was his tweet during Carlton’s 34-point loss to Collingwood in Round 7 that has caught the attention of his new club’s coaching staff.
Boekhorst was scathing of the team’s performance and called for Malthouse’s head.
He later deleted the tweet.
Safe to say he was a little more enamoured with the club last night, after it made his AFL dream come true.
Ecstatic to be joining the @CarltonFC . Love seeing them succeed and hate seeing the downside! Always followed them closely!
