AFL tipping 2017: The Advertiser expert tipsters for semi-finals

OUR expert panel of tipsters have sided with Sydney and Greater Western Sydney in this weekend’s semi-finals.

ADELAIDE will have to get past Sydney next Friday to progress to the premiership decider, if The Advertiser’s expert tipsters are on the money.

All tipsters except Crows ruckman Sam Jacobs, UBet’s Gerard Daffey and jockey Clare Lindop have picked Sydney to continue their strong record against Geelong at the MCG tonight and book in a preliminary final date with the Crows.

Likewise, tipsters have shown overwhelming support for Greater Western Sydney to knock off West Coast despite the Giants’ disappointing effort against Adealide last Thursday.

Only inaugural Crows captain Chris McDermott, Advertiser scribe Reece Homfray and Daffy have sided with the Eagles extra-time heroics to end Port’s season on Saturday.

Sunday Mail columnist and former Port Adelaide and Geelong star Dwayne Russell has taken sole leadership at the pointy end of the season after three correct tips last week.

He is on 133, one clear of Tiser Chief Football Writer Michelangelo Rucci and Australian cricket coach Darren Lehmann.
