Rising star Darcy Fogarty can help reignite Adelaide Crows season, says fellow forward Tom Lynch
Senior Adelaide forward Tom Lynch has welcomed the addition of young gun Darcy Fogarty to the Crows’ side this week, saying the fierce competitor ‘could be anything’.

Crows youngster Darcy Fogarty is being tipped to shine by teammate Tom Lynch, who reckons the talented forward will be a player the Adelaide faithful will love watching.
After being stuck in the SANFL for most of the year, Fogarty has finally been called up to Adelaide’s senior side in 2019 - as a replacement for Josh Jenkins, sparking speculation he could now be on his way out at West Lakes.
Fogarty played 10 games for the Crows last year, and Lynch believes the 19-year-old can make a big impact - starting with St Kilda on Saturday - and help Adelaide reignite its season.

“He is someone in a hurry and someone who fans will really enjoy watching,” Lynch said.
“Darcy can be anything he wants to be, he has his career at his feet.
“He is a fierce competitor… he won’t be Wayne Carey tomorrow night but we want him to keep developing and if he keeps improving he will be a great player.”
High-profile recruit Bryce Gibbs also returns to the senior side for the first time since Round 15, after being in and out of the Crows line-up because of form and role issues.
Lynch said in the wake of Gibbs’ 40 disposal game against Glenelg in the SANFL last week, it was exciting to see the former No. 1 draft pick back in the side.
“I think he is excited, he’s been through a few emotions this year. But we are rapt to have him… he has certainly earned his recall,” he said.
