Adelaide Football Club has started off the new year with a bang, adding some extra humour to its first 2km time trial for 2020.
The Crows last night posted a video on their website depicting the players completing the fitness test around North Adelaide’s park 10, with an overdub of legendary race caller Terry McAuliffe commentating the whole thing.
Chayce Jones backed up his earlier pre-season effort to again finish in first place, with rookie and ex-Brisbane Lion Ben Keays and young gun Ned McHenry filling the minor placings.
The video was well-received by many Adelaide players, and fans, on social media.
“Unbelievable Adelaide FC ... 2020 has been a great start! Terry McAuliffe you are a genius!”, former captain Taylor Walker tweeted.
