Former Adelaide Crows and Melbourne midfielder Bernie Vince revealed he tried to poach best mate Taylor Walker across to the Demons.
Talking on Triple M’s Rush Hour, Vince said he had a crack at getting the key forward across the border during his tough times at the Crows.
“I spoke to him,” he said.

“I was still playing for Melbourne, so I was trying to get him to play for Melbourne.
“We needed another key forward.
“I certainly threw it out there, said you can come and live with me … just like the old times.”
However, Vince said it never grew from there despite his best efforts.
“I had conversations about it, but he didn’t really listen, but he doesn’t listen,” he said.
