ADELAIDE great Andrew McLeod has taken the next step in his coaching career by taking charge of St Michael’s College for next season.
The dual AFL premiership player and Norm Smith Medallist started his foray into coaching with Norwood in the SANFL before agreeing to lead St Michael’s, which his children Connor (Year 11) and Madi (Year 9) attend.
“While Andrew’s experience in football is obviously impressive, he most importantly brings to the role a focus on personal development of the individual,” St Michael’s College principal John Foley said.
“He believes strongly in the value of positive role models for young men and women and understands the importance personal confidence and hope play in the lives of young people.”
McLeod played a club record 340 games for Adelaide from 1995 to 2010.
