Four Adelaide Crows players proved they’re more than capable with the bat and ball after featuring in a local Twenty20 game on Tuesday night.
Star forward and former skipper Taylor Walker, winger Paul Seedsman and midfielder brothers Brad and Matt Crouch took the field for Prince Alfred Old Collegians in the Adelaide Turf Cricket Association’s City Holden Smash competition, facing off against Adelaide University.
Batting first in the division three game, Seedsman - who is renowned for booming right boot - showed he also has plenty of power with willow in hand, blasting seven boundaries (including four sixes) as he plundered 54 runs from 29 balls batting at number five.

Brad Crouch also added a handy 30 off 29 coming in at first drop, while sibling Matt (4 off 11) and Walker (2 off 4) failed to fire as PAOC posted a handy 146.
Seedsman also stole the show with the ball, returning matchwinning figures of 4/18 from his four overs, while the Texan snared a handy 2/30 - both bowled.
In the end, Uni fell 33 runs short of victory, all out for 114.
The match was Walker’s second appearance for PAOC in the T20 Smash competition, after he featured against Grange a week earlier alongside former teammate Richard Douglas where he hit 12 off nine (including a six and a four) and took 2/8 from four overs.
Douglas, who after being delisted by the Crows at the end of last season and signing with Norwood for 2020, bowled two overs for 0/9.
PAOC’s next division three game is away at Flinders University on Tuesday, January 7.
