ADELAIDE says it has no plans to abandon its partnership with Collective Mind and will continue working with the group next year.

The club refuted a report in The Advertiser on Monday which suggested the pair had parted ways after a controversial pre-season camp in Queensland.

“The current agreement for this year and next is still in place and we are pushing ahead,” a Crows spokesperson said.

It’s understood Collective Mind will be in Adelaide in coming weeks to work with the playing and coaching group.

Adelaide started working with Collective Mind at the beginning of 2017 but the partnership made headlines in March when it was reported that some players were uncomfortable with what they were asked to do on a pre-season training camp on the Gold Coast.

But some players said they had got a lot out of the partnership and the mind training would help them perform on game day.

It’s understood a large part of the angst from the pre-season camp stemmed from the players being asked to give up their phones while they were away.
