Adelaide is expecting defender Kyle Hartigan will be available for the club’s pre-season campaign after minor ankle surgery on Wednesday.
Crows Head of Science and Medicine Steve Saunders said the 28-year-old underwent successful arthroscopic surgery on his left ankle.
“Kyle was experiencing lateral ankle pain during specific changes in direction at training,” Saunders said.

“The surgery involved the removal of old scar tissue and a joint washout.
“Kyle’s running will be limited for the next two weeks.
“However, he has had a seamless off-season and pre-season to date, so he is well-placed to be available for selected trial games in preparation for Round One.”
Adelaide has two Marsh Community Series games, against Melbourne on February 22 and Gold Coast on March 6.
