The second-year midfielder followed up his 92-point performance in the first week of the JLT Series with 17 disposals, nine contested possessions, an equal-team-high five clearances and 61 points in the first half against the Bombers. Yes, just 50 per cent game-time. Just pick him, Scotty.

Those Crouch brothers were at it again in week two. Matt posted a game-high 155 points, on the back of 38 disposals, 15 contested possessions and nine tackles, in a dominant midfield performance.
Brad Crouch (Adel)
124 points
Older brother Brad made it three from three in his comeback from injury with another 124 SuperCoach points against the Giants. Crouch tallied 31 disposals, 12 contested possessions, six marks, six clearances and five inside 50s, capping off a flawless pre-season.
Rory Sloane (Adel)
115 points
Their midfield side-kick, Sloane, wasn’t bad either, tallying 28 disposals, 14 contested possessions, eight tackles and 115 points in limited game-time.
Chayce Jones (Adel)
78 points
The Crows’ top draft pick is ticking all the boxes in his first pre-season. The 18-year-old, whose speed and pressure has been a highlight, booted two goals and laid five tackles in a performance which has him a likely Round 1 starter.
Stephen Coniglo (GWS)
123 points
The Giant star followed up his huge 140-point performance in the first week of JLT action with another impressive display against the Crows. The ball magnet tallied 37 disposals, 15 contested possessions, seven marks and six clearances, on his way to a team-high 123 points.
Tom Rockliff (Port)
170 points
The 29-year-old, who has enjoyed an uninterrupted pre-season, wound the clock back at Alberton Oval on Saturday with a huge 170-point performance against the Kangaroos. Rockliff, who boasts a career-high season average of 132, was prolific, recording 41 disposals, 16 marks, 11 contested possessions and two goals – albeit against a team which only laid 24 tackles for the match. Another tempting mid-price option to consider - just what we needed.
Willem Drew (Port)
86 points
Rockliff’s young, third-year team-mate all-but confirmed his position as a Round 1 debutant with another impressive display in the midfield. The 188cm 20-year-old tallied 16 disposals, seven marks and four tackles after attending 12 centre bounces on Saturday.
Zak Butters (Port)
82 points
After tallying 25 disposals in the Power’s first JLT Series match, the 18-year-old showed his ability to hit the scoreboard in week two, finishing with three goals and two goal assists against the Kangaroos. Butters’ six score-assists in the JLT Series ranked him equal-first in the competition.
Bailey Scott (NM)
89 points
After 19 disposals, two goals and 89 points in the second week of the JLT Series, the 19-year-old draftee is firming as a Round 1 starter.
Angus Brayshaw (Melb)
126 points
Brayshaw was at it again on Saturday, finishing with 26 disposals, 14 contested possessions, 11 tackles and three goals against the Lions. He’s a great point-of-difference.
Jarryd Lyons (Bris)
147 points
Do you think former coach Stuart Dew was watching Lyons’ midfield masterclass against Brisbane? The 26-year-old, now at his third club, finished with 26 disposals, 15 contested possessions, six clearances and four goals.
Lachie Neale (Bris)
106 points
If you’re considering Neale, don’t even hesitate. The former Docker has hit the ground running at Brisbane, tallying another 28 disposals – 25 of them handballs – 17 contested possessions and 106 points against the Demons.
Jaeger O’Meara (Haw)
101 points
We know how much talent this guy has but in the absence of Tom Mitchell, 2019 could the year he explodes. The 25-year-old, who looks in terrific condition, covered the ground well, finishing with 35 disposals, 10 contested possessions and 101 points in 73 per cent game-time.
Dustin Martin (Rich)
81 points
After a quiet finish to the game, Martin only scored 81 points but his midfield numbers were great. The Brownlow Medallist tallied 30 disposals, 12 contested possessions and a game-high 10 clearances in 65 per cent game-time.
Trent Cotchin (Rich)
129 points
Martin’s skipper, as he often does, willed his side over the line with a big second-half against the Hawks. Cotchin finished with 24 disposals, seven inside 50s and two crucial late goals.
Luke Parker (Syd)
128 points
Can the Sydney midfielder recapture his 2016 SuperCoach form which saw him average 112 points per game? A 25-disposal, three-goal, 128-point performance against the Suns suggests he’s a chance.
Touk Miller (GC)
125 points
If you’re taking part in a SuperCoach Draft this season, Miller could a nice late-round selection after an impressive 125-point display, on the back of 31 disposals, 19 contested possessions and seven tackles against the Swans.
Jack Steele (StK)
115 points
If you weren’t sure about Steele’s SuperCoach credentials after a 117-point performance in Saints’ the first JLT Series match, you can be now. The 23-year-old tallied 25 disposals, 13 contested possessions, 10 tackles, two goal assists and 115 points against the Bulldogs in another standout all-round display.
Dom Sheed (WC)
134 points
Is there really a need for Sheed in SuperCoach? The 23-year-old is doing his best to convince us, posting another huge score in the Eagles’ victory over the Dockers. Sheed, who scored 144 points in the first week of the JLT Series, finished with 40 disposals, 13 contested possessions, eight tackles and 134 points.
Adam Treloar (Coll)
128 points
The star midfielder is only in five per cent of teams after missing the first week of the JLT Series. But that percentage should increase after a huge 128-point performance, on the back of 42 disposals, 14 contested possessions and six tackles, in his first hitout of the pre-season. Consider Treloar as a point-of-difference.
Sam Walsh (Carl)
96 points
Another polished display from the No. 1 draft pick who finished with 23 disposals, 13 contested possessions and 96 points. Just pay the top-rookie price.
