Seaton pair Paul Domanski and Ty Burton play 300th games for Ramblers

ONE was a Seaton Ramblers junior who grew up a drop punt away from the football club.

The other is a Whyalla product who joined the Ramblers at the start of his senior career.

This month, Paul Domanski, 39, and Ty Burton, 38, both became 300-game players at Seaton.

Domanski, a C-grade midfielder, chalked up the milestone against Kenilworth on Saturday, July 13, while Burton, a B-grade key forward/defender, got there on July 6.

For Domanski, the feat comes 32 years after he joined the club, which was about 50m from his home.

"In juniors I'd go over there and just loved it" he says.

"In the teen years I was a bit slack so (club officials) would knock on my door, say 'we're training' and get me over there.

"Mum would answer and I'd have to go across.

"I'm pretty honoured to be able to achieve 300 games for the club."

Burton followed mates to Seaton in 1995 after moving to Adelaide from Whyalla and has been there ever since.

He was the club's A-grade captain from 1998-2000, took out its best and fairest in 2001 and won a B-grade flag in 2010.

"Seaton has been a big part of my life," Burton says.

"I've enjoyed the club and the people involved with it."

One of Burton's favourite memories of his time at Seaton is playing a handful of games alongside his brother, former Crows high-flyer Brett Burton.

"I was very proud to play with him and (during his Crows career) he'd quite often come out to have a look."

Domanski and Burton both expect to play on next season.
