NORTH Adelaide is giving Max Thring every chance to prove his fitness and front Norwood in the final SANFL grand final to be contested at AAMI Stadium.

Thring was a spectator for the second half of the preliminary final win over West Adelaide after damaging his hamstring but has been named as the rover for the Roosters when they released their squad for the premiership decider.

Both clubs named the same 23-man squads they had for their most recent game.

The Redlegs added Mark Evans and Orazio Fantasia to the 21 who conquered the Bloods in the second semi-final. The pair was cut from the squad for that encounter.

The Roosters added Patrick Boles and Ben Williams, who were in the squad for last Sunday's game but were overlooked.

"Mark and Orazio were unlucky to miss out last time,'' Redlegs football manager Mark Ross said.

"We have got no injury problems and training has been upbeat.

"We will finalise our 21 tomorrow (Friday).''

The Roosters will also settle their side on Friday with the only question being over Thring's fitness. He is to be tested on Friday.

If Boles survives the final cull it will be only his second league game after making his debut in the first semi-final win over Woodville-West Torrens.
